Dr. Abundo is the best! I have a really bad prescription and after going to him several times now I feel confident in saying he is the best optometrist I've visited. He is knowledgeable and you can tell he has a passion for what he does. Barbara is also very competent. He does have one office assistant that has always had attitude everytime I'm in there but Dr. Abundo and Barbara make up for her.
I've been coming here for 4 years and up until this year things have been great. I have a really high prescription that I know is difficult to find corrective lenses. I have been working with them since June to get my prescription right and they seem to keep sweeping me under the rug. I appreciate their willingness to try different brands and prescriptions but the office staff seems to keep forgetting things. I've been wearing the same trial contacts for 7 weeks now (only should wear for 4) because they forgot to mail me the new trial pair. I just received the new trial pair and they are the wrong prescription. It is unbelievable the lack of service I'm receiving.
This place is absolutely amazing!! I love the employees, Dr. Abundo is awesome, and my eyes feel better every time I walk in. 😁 I trust and recommend this office highly.🎖⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
I called several eye doctors to find the best price for a contact lens exam because I do not have insurance. After speaking with the receptionist at Abundo Eye Care I was told that it would be $60 and I was very excited to hear that because it was the cheapest option I had found. I scheduled an appointment and after getting the exam I was sent to the receptionist to pay and was told that it would be $155 after I was told on the phone that it would be $60! They neglected to tell me that I would be also be charged for a regular exam. I have never experienced 2 charges like that at other offices and I should have been told over the phone what I was to expect. I am very upset that I was misled like this and had no option but to pay the $90 that I was never told about. I will be taking my prescription elsewhere to be filled and I will find another eye doctor to see in the future.
