Horrible experience. Officer pulled me over and instructed me the ticket would be dismissed if I provided proof of valid ID. So i called Lago VIsta municipal court and advised I ordered a copy of my driving record from DPS showing my license is valid and was told by the clerk that it would not be able to be dismissed and that I would have to pay a $300 ticket or have a warrant issued for my arrest. My recommendation is to tread lightly in Lago Vista. It became clear that this is just a money maker for them and they are out to get revenue dollars. The most frustrating part of this is the officer bold face lying to my face. Too bad I can't give negative stars or I would.
I got a ticket and Stephanie at the court helped me get all my paper work for driver's safety course and all that worked out via email. She is the real MVP here.
