I love Pace Bend Park I come in here since the 80s just can't come out in the summer time too many dumb people Winter X quiet
One of my favorite places to spend the day near Austin. It's a bit of a drive but well worth it. Be prepared and bring hiking supplies and sunscreen.
Great trails, great lake, great park.nnMe and my gf went to explore for the first time and it was a nice surprise.nnWeather was cold but the trails keep your body heat up. A lady met us at the entrance and gave us a trail map. Pretty clear and simple instructions to go around the park.nnThe lake is beautiful and it has some nice wildlife animals, mainly ducks.nnAll the other visitors we encountered were friendly.
My favorite park ! Always a joy to visit. Cool waters of Lake Travis and the wonderful shade trees grants this place a local paradise. The park's help are always so helpful. Wish they were here year round.
Cute little beach, good fishing!
