We reserved a SUV through Budget and when we arrived at DFW we waited 20 min for the shuttle to pick us up. Upon arriving at the rental car area, we learned that Budget was closed, even though it was during normal business hours (10:30 am). There was a sign instructing us to wait in the Avis line. After waiting for 25 minutes, the attendant informed us that our car which was scheduled for 30 minutes prior was not there yet. We were instructed to go to another area and wait. No timeframe or instructions were given other than to walk to the side and wait. 45 min later we had our rental. When we asked for clarification, no explanation was given. Additionally, we paid for a Suburban but were given a Yukon. For prompt, accurate and courteous service, I would neither recommend Budget or Avis.
