We’ve enjoyed the movie selection most at this library! -DVDs. It does also have a wide variety of books and some audio cds. ABC mouse computer time is perfect for the young schooled aged kids and it’s free. There’s also a coffee/hot tea set up in the back corner. Clean and well kept! The front entrance of the library is a recent upgrade and added room to children’s book area. Staff do their best to help out! What a great library for a small town of Troup! -Grateful for it!
There is too much noise especially coming from the librarians. the one that sits in her office is so loud you can hear everyone of her conversations on the phone and in person. They are so loud you can hear everything they are saying and it is hard to concentrate. They run it like drill sergeants monitoring every move you make. They make you feel uncomfortable. They are so unprofessional! I guess this is the best you are going to get from this library.
Nice little library in the middle of town. Good place for a pit stop on a long bike ride. The little town of troup is a worth a walk around. The road from here going to New Summerfield is a pretty drive and you eventually end up in Rusk.
