Great Staff there and Great Advisors
Since June 2020 I have called for information on different issues, such as transfer credits, transcripts, being placed in my major. I have had the worst experiences, everyone that you speak to gives conflicting informative, incorrect information and are flat out resistance to providing any helpful information. The most recent stomach turning inadequacy was when I was told by a woman in financial aid that because I graduated HS in 1994 in Puerto Rico and was having a hard time getting an official HS transcript sent in that I should get a GED!!! I have already attended college in Illinois and LSC, plus they had my transcripts from Illinois and!!! There is a provision I encountered on my own that say that if you graduated in a territory, college transcripts override having to resend your HS transcripts. I did call in twice more to get the process corrected and found people that actually cared to help but why do they have these passive aggressive staff members that act like they know what they are talking about answer any questions is beyond me. Could you imagine had I taken the advice and pursed a GED what more time I would have wasted on this trash information.
Really depends on which teacher they hire for giving the lecture. So, it is not really good time for having great courses duing the current crisis timing.
Such a great school and the staff is always great. Best community College i have been too.
Beautiful, well maintained campus. Started at 15 as a homeschool dual credit student. Exemplary service from advisors to finance. Had zero problems. Professors were engaging and subject matter experts as good or better than those at top tier universities. Class size is small so you get one on one attention. Remember you get out of the experience what you put in.
