I don’t usually post feedback but I am compelled to say something about Dr. Rafael Lugo and how amazing he is. October 2014 I was diagnosed with stage 3 colon cancer. I had just turned 44 with what I thought was a pretty healthy life, and there I was facing so many things including the potential of not being here for my family. I am so happy that I was referred to Dr. Lugo to have the removal of the tumor. He was soooo amazing and made me feel as confident and comfortable as I believe I could be. He did a great job removing the cancer as I was told by my oncologist and thank God I am now almost 6 years cancer free! I just want to thank God of course for connecting me with Dr. Lugo. Thank you very much Dr Lugo! For EVERYTHING!!

I was able to make an appointment easily and had the procedure quickly. Dana explained everything clearly including payment information. Dr. Lugo explained what he was doing while he performed the procedure and made me feel very comfortable. Positive experience all around.

Dr. Lugo is well informed and very passionate about his work which makes the difference when you are dealing with the gut. This is one of the most complex areas of the body and having a doctor who cares is imperative. Dana his assistant was wonderful. She was excellent with communicating and helping me save money to get my CT Scan. You can tell these two are passionate about what they do and helping people. It was a superior experience and I would recommend their services to anyone having issues.

Dr Lugo was thoughtful, conservative in his approach and empathetic. His confidence and calm in an emergency situation was needed and appreciated.nDana, his top staff nurse was amazing. I was a chocolate mess, over insurance issues, need for at home antibiotics, getting supplies and all the other stresses that come with emergency surgery. Dana was on top of it all, like it was just another day at the office. Dana was very efficient and got things done quickly. Dr. Lugo is not only a skilled surgeon, but a gentile, caring man. He always takes however long is needed to meet the needs and concerns of his patients. I would highly recommend this doctor
