Whiskey Cake Kitchen & Bar

ABSOLUTELY AMAZING. our first time and there was nothing that didn’t blow us away. Lowkey , dress up or down. Great cocktails & starters. We had the deviled eggs, sprouts & salmon dip. For entrees we did the burger and short rib! And the dessert was AMAZING. We were floating in bliss ! Daniel was our server he was kind knowledgeable and fast! Definitely going back !

This place is awesome and did not disappoint. We waited for a table for about 45 minutes on a busy Saturday evening. Grabbing something from the bar was nice and the bartenders were very attentive to those waiting. Also plenty of room to wait and spread out a bit for those distancing.nnFood was fabulous. And drinks were very good. Pricing get reasonable for the type and style but would love to take advantage of happy hour sometime. Great place to splurge for a special occasion, which our outing was. Let’s just say I can see why you would name a place after your prized cake... it was divine. Hope more open up.

Me & my friends went for a late dinner last Friday night. It was pretty late & the place is still new so maybe that was our mistake, but the restaurant was still packed when we got there. We sat on the patio & the service was great. That is the only reason for the 1 star. We ordered drinks & the waitress told us the kitchen was closing soon so she could have the food & drinks put in to go containers, so we agreed to take everything home. When we received the drinks to go, we were shocked at the amount! Our $12-20 drinks were maybe only half a coke can. We were shocked to the point where 1 of my friends actually asked about the amount. We then received the food in a bag ready to go. Once we got back we realized there was no plastic ware, condiments for the burgers that were ordered, no syrup for the chicken & waffles that was ordered, & no napkins. Seemed like it was packed in a rush just to get us out of there. We all grabbed our food & began to eat. I had the chicken & cheese melt. The first bite I took had a bone in it! I spit it right back out! I decided to pick through the sandwich with a fork, scared of what else I might find. When I took another bite the sauce on the sandwich was sour & salty. It was disgusting! After that, I was done. Everyone's food was salty & we were all highly disappointed. Especially after paying that much! I will probably not be back, there are much better restaurants that area hell of a lot cheaper! This is just the shiny new toy right now, they hype will die down soon.

Had the cheeseburger with lettuce as the bun. They do have a few healthy meals for my resolution. However I did try my friends chicken and waffles and they do an excellent job! Recommend the gravy on the side. Service was moderate. Nothing over the top, but we were taken care of in a timely fashion. Def a must try and I will be back after my diet!

I have no complaints about our visit here. The food was phenomenal and fresh. Our server Bradyn was EXCELLENT and had timely service and great recommendations. I’ve never had an old fashioned as good as the one I had here. If you don’t try this place out you’re missing out. You can’t go wrong with the whiskey cake either ud83dude09
