The place is fine Met the owner he’s a nice guy but.... they should tell their bartender(Jackie) that when customers put money in the jukebox and chose their songs that she shouldn’t override them to play whatever she wants to play... Jukebox wasn’t able to play my 8 songs because she decided to go change everything
The owner was great and treated us like family. We felt right at home. Music by John Eric was great. Will be back again in the future.
Nice place. Pretty clean and safe
Friends and I went to the Pelican on the island for a few drinks. We literally stayed for an hour had maybe a total of 4 drinks (Beers). The next billing cycle on my credit card shows a charge of 110$! There’s no way I spent that much there, granted I did not pay much attention to the bill when we cashed out I just signed and left.I have been going to the pelican for years, and I normally wouldn’t post about this type of problem since it was really my fault for not paying attention to the bill, but this is like the third time it’s happened to me at the Pelican. It seems they are in a habit of ripping people off. Beware All. I suggest paying in cash only.
My favorite spot on the island! Always a great crowd, live music and good friends.
