One time years ago my family was able to sneak in through the gift shop exit and saved $100 straight up.. it was glorious. Enjoyed the whole aquarium and saw a dolphin show from the second floor while staying cool in the a/c while everyone else sat outside in the heat for 45 minutes. Ate big at a seafood place down the street, toasted the Texas State Aquarium with Jacks and Cokes. Best day ever.

This aquarium was amazing!! We brought our 7 and 9 year old daughters and they had a great time! My 9 year old loved the interactive exhibits, especially the sting rays. We all enjoyed the dolphin show. The staff was knowledgeable and available to answer questions about any of the animals. It took us about three hours to do everything we wanted and my girls were sad to leave. We will definitely visit again when we’re in the area.

I am so happy that Texas State Aquarium had $2 week. Thank you for giving so many people the opportunity to visit your establishment without paying full price. (Especially now during a pandemic.) ud83dude42nI was pleasantly surprised at the growth of your exhibits and how beautifully kept it is. My grandkids loved everything about the aquarium. I cannot wait until the shows are up and running again. I will definitely visit again, $2 or not. I think it is completely worth it if people take their time to really enjoy each exhibit. The bald eagle was my favorite!!!

My daughter and wife love this place. My daughter loves attending the animal encounters and wants to be a dolphin. This visit she enjoyed getting to touch an alligator, Seastar, stingray, and a baby shark. We admire the work that this organization does with coastal life. Both the animals and those of us living on land. They make you care about the animals without pushing it in your face like some of the activist zoos around the country. A Texas treasure for sure.
