I love Dr. Lewis, but The people working in the front office can never get anything done. They never answer the phone or return phone calls. I left 5 Voicemails over two weeks and never got a call back. I finally had to go up to the office and set an appointment just to get a prescription refilled. My son is medically fragile and we are always need appointments or refills, but can never get the staff to get anything done. Every time we need a refill I spend hours going between calling Children medical clinical of east Texas and the pharmacy. Every other doctor my son has that sends in refills I never have issue with just them, but for some reason the ones in the front office here can not get it together. It’s sad, but I will probably have to leave Dr. Lewis because his staff can’t get things together. My brother had the same issue and took his kids else where. I wanted to stay because Dr. lewis has been there through everything with my son and understands his medical needs, but I will have to drive further just to make sure my sons needs are met.

I wanted to write this review as I have been bringing my children to this practice for over 15 years and I absolutely love it there! I love Dr Lewis and ALL of the staff! The care and attention they provide is second to none! That said, it really upsets me that people come on sites like these and complain about every little thing that doesn’t go there way or happen as fast as they think it should! Taking care of children who are sick is no easy task and it is definitely not a fast process. It takes time. Yes, I have had to wait before. However, it does not upset me as I know the Dr and other providers will always give my child the same attention when it is our turn to be seen. What other office in this area has all of the tests and procedures in the same location that this office has? NONE! So, yes it may take longer but I know that all of my questions will be answered when I leave and my children will be treated appropriately and on the path to improvement and feeling better!nnIn this day and age, it just seem that all everyone wants to do is complain so I wanted to take a minute to give a positive review and let people know how great this office is! In my opinion, we are lucky and blessed to have this caliber of practice with such caring staff in rural East Texas!

The best pediatric clinic I have every been to!nI am very thankful for the dedication of the doctors and staff!! I have been taking my girls here for a little over a year now and every appointment I know all of my questions will be answered and they will not stop until they are. It’s comforting to know my kids are in good hands and will be cared for. Dr. Lewis is amazing with my asthmatic oldest, Dr. Riggs and especially Dr. Owens this afternoon for taking care of my youngest and giving me the answers I needed when Urgent Care could not. I can sleep sound tonight and put my worried mommy mind at ease. They are a very special team that care deeply for all of their patients and it shows everyday!

My grandchildren and now great grandchildren go to this practice! I love the all of the doctors and staff there! They are super friendly and helpful! I know my loved ones are in great hands and their healthcare needs will be taken care of completely. I am so grateful to have a doctor's office like this so close to home! Highly recommend!
