Rating one star because of staff. I’m not sure why but front desk receptionist always seems to be in a bad mood. I always dread seeing her. Not friendly. Not helpful at all! It’s not just her but the whole front staff. Parents bring their children to be helped and comforted but when you have front staff that are not friendly it doesn’t help. That’s the first impression people see.

Mrs Salinas is the best. I dont even schedule my kids appointments with dr avila. Mrs salinas is sweet and caring, and goes the extra mile to make sure my kids feel better. And my kids feel comfortable with her on their checkups. Only reason a 4 rating is the wait times, other than that, great service by her.

The staff is so friendly and patient. My son is usually stressed out when he has to go to the doctor, and the staff always smiles and treats him so sweetly. They're all so compassionate and upbeat and that means so much when my son is not feeling well.

So today I took my friend’s daughter to the Mercedes office and for the first time I met Dr. Avila. He said she had a virus just by touching her stomach, no blood drawn no other exams done. Asked him to check if she was anemic and he said it was by my orders not his. Wow !ud83dude21. She then tells me she fainted so I told him and he said well it could be that she might need brain surgery or she has a virus. I didn’t appreciate him being unprofessional. Can’t believe the PA is better than the actual Doctor. ud83eudd26ud83cudffd‍♀ufe0f
