The library has always had friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful staff...and even though they’re not very big, they have the capacity to get just about any book I want if it’s in their system.
Older building. Bit small. But polite staff. Free parking.
This is not your typical library. The place is extremely small with only 3 tables to sit at on the first floor and no access to electrical for charging phones of laptops. The upstairs is a loft that is exclusive only to children and young moms. Needless to say you can hear everything that is being said upstairs. The 2 ladies who sit at the main desk are extremely loud and chatty. Book selections are limited. If you're looking to get some work done, you're better off going to a coffee shop.
A lot of books, not many very people at a time. Really nice!
Their “infant lapsit” is a joke. They set a capacity for infant safety, which I understand, but then they allow toddlers above the age limit in and actual infants are turned away at the door. They will let in extra adults though if their nanny’s are inside, so I’m not sure what they actually mean by capacity or if it’s just an excuse to turn people away. I will find a more welcoming program for my child.
