All of my life, I've enjoyed browsing in bookstores and libraries. Although e-books have become popular, they don't hold a candle to a new printed book.nnI really like this Barnes & Noble bookstore on West Holcombe at Buffalo Speedway. The store is clean and well-lighted with many pleasing book displays.nnStore associates are friendly, knowledgeable and helpful.
It's a busy place so prepare to stand in line for 5 minutes or so on weekends. There was a pleasant smell of brewing coffee when l walked and the staff was friendly and quick to help. Will definitely be going back.
I went to pick up an order and was greeted and helped immediately. The manager Kenny was very helpful and went above and beyond in helping me with an additional purchase. He took his time answering the questions that I had and was very informative about a product that I was interested in. Thank you Kenny!
Keep great LOCAL book, magazine, music, video, & toy stores alive. Visit & buy something & have a cup of coffee. You'll thank yourself. YOU CANNOT CLICK EVERYTHING; &, IT'S NICE TO ACTUALLY BE THERE & BROWSE.
Good location, not crowded and peaceful. The staff was nice and helpful as well. There was a good selection of books and magazines to choose from.
