Can't believe this place is only 3.9 stars. This is a high class Mexican restaurant-- you know, the rare kind that you don't feel like you're in Mexico. Cloth napkins, metal silverware, top notch service. Food is excellent and service is impeccable. I've never tasted anything here that wasn’t fantastic. Don't believe the bad reviews this place is GREAT. This is a totally random and unsolicited review BTW... just finished eating here again.
Authentic Mexican food in an Americanized Mexican environment. It's not easy to find these jewels when both authenticity and quality come together. This is one of our favorites! It's a little pricey, but worth it. Great service, fantastic food and some of the best chips and salsa along with a guacamole sauce that is presented for free before your meal. This is our go to Mexican restaurant in the valley!
We have always really liked the food and service till today. After we were seated we got chips and salsa, we ordered sodas, the waitress asked asked if we were ready to order. I started to give my order and looked up but she was gone. She was over talking to the manager. Never came back to our table, helped everyone around us but completely ignored us. After a little more than 20 minutes we went to the front and offered to pay for our drinks and chips and salsa. The manager said we didn't need to pay. He said sorry but no explanation, just said that he would talk to her. They weren't even crowded. Obviously some personal issues going on there. We won't be going back.
Delicious! I ordered the Chicken Mexican Bowl. My dinner companion ordered the El Bryan. Our first time eating here....and we're going back again before we leave. You must go here! The chips & salsas before dinner were good. Great waitress ...Catherine!
There are only 2 locations in Salt Lake City that I have come across that have authentic Mexican food and Los Cucos is one of them.
If you like good Mexican food, great service, and an authentic atmosphere, look no further.
Having lived in Phoenix and frequented Mexico on more than one occasion, I can tell you that other than the weather, you'd be hard pressed to not believe you were in Mexico!
Love this place and will return any time I'm looking for a good meal and great hospitality.
