Watch ALL of the YouTube videos on the application process. I can’t stress this enough. I did all the work myself because I wanted to make sure everything was done perfect. I am 50 and a single woman so I feel it was a lot of work but I was able to do it. I will say I felt very rushed in the application process because this stuff sets up fast. Actually a little faster than the time given but I made it work. I let it dry a full two days instead of one and monitored the room temperature with my pool thermometer. It looked absolutely amazing. Very thick and very shiny. I was so proud and then on day 4 I noticed some staining down the middle of the tub. I emailed Refinished Bath Solutions and Sara was very helpful. She suggested that I use baking soda and a magic eraser to remove the stain. I did this and it would remove most of it but not all. Sara said that after 14 days it would fully cure and it would not be a problem. During this 14 days I was constantly scrubbing out the stains every two days. I emailed Sara and told her I was uncomfortable scrubbing my newly finished tub so much. She assured me that it would not damage the finish. We had read on another review about switching to colorless bath products to prevent this. So we did just that however the stains continued. I started to notice that the area of the tub I had scrubbed with the baking soda and magic eraser had a rough feel and was no longer shiny. I emailed Sara who started taking longer to reply and then started blaming the stains on either rust or hard water. I’m not sure about hard water but I have no rust in my water. When I told her that all the scrubbing had ruined my tub she just repeated what she had said about the rust and hard water. I asked her to send me a touch up kit to fix the rough areas damaged by all the scrubbing. She said she would send me one for $31.99. After all the work and money I put into this and you can’t even offer me a touch up kit. Up to this point she was very nice and assured me that it would be fine. Well it definitely is not and now you want me to pay more to fix the damage you had me do by the scrubbing. This all started on September 5 so I waited and gave the company plenty of time to make this right. Now it’s dead silence. I wish they would have provided me with the touch up kit so I could have tried to fix it and maybe wait the full 14 days before scrubbing and see if I could leave a positive review. Now I have the choice of spending more money and buying their touch up kit or just redoing it and trying ArmGlaze instead. It’s so frustrating to have spent so much time and money on this product for the company to leave me hanging like this.

Spent hundreds of dollars on their products and used them as directed only for my bath tubs to turn yellow. The company is unsympathetic and will not help me to fix the yellowing.

I bought there liquid tub recasting product from Amazon and I did it myself in the past I have bought and used home depot do it yourself spray on reglazing kits which is a paint and it took a week to fully dry and made a mess This recasting material stuff is completely different and much better. this is pour on and much easier and less messy. This stuff dried in just 24 hours it is 10-20 times thicker than the spray process. I reccomend you go on there YouTube page and look at the many videos they have. He has a video where he hits a recast tub with a piece of metal very hard many times and it does not even mark the tub, it is that strong! I was a little sceptical at first but now that I used it on my tub it is true how strong this material is! They also have videos on YouTube where he walks you through the do it yourself process which was very helpful. I had a question for them and I called, they were pleasant to talk to on the phone and answered my questions. Great customer service. I highly recommend this product. I am not great with home improvement but it was very easy for me after watching the instructions video.
