I just got off the phone with a very pleasant and helpful county employee. I asked about physically monitoring a civil hearing and was told cases are now virtual and there was no public access.nnI said the recording said cases could be filed in person or online and that I was planning to file a case in person. I was told that due to COVID-19 concerns, current cases must be filed online.nnI mentioned that the recording said the most I could file for is $10,000, but I heard it's $20,000. The woman said as of today, (September 1, 2020) it IS $20,000.nnI suggested that the recording be updated, thanked her for answering my questions and hung up. It was an informative exchange handled courteously and professionally.
These ladies are super awesome. They helped me and went beyond. I forgot my insurance card and they printed one out for me. They gave me an extension to pay my ticket. They're very professional and courtesy. Other court house are very rude. Keep up the good work!
Online it says Monday thru Friday 8A.M. to 4P.M.nSo why when I call the phone number it says they close at 3P.M. ? People have work on weekdays at least be open till 5 so people can come pay their ticket ..!! Must be nice working 35 hours a week.. cause I work 78 a week !?
This courthouse hates dealers. Their clerks always find an excuse not to do the titles of dealers. And the sad part is that all of them are together in this from low level to high position. No wonder this courthouse has the lowest customer satisfaction rating out of all the ones in Fort Bend.
