ud83dude89 The ability to catch a train to the hospital or to the numerous clinics is so much easier than fighting traffic and paying to park and searching for a parking space and searching for your car afterward. On the other hand it needs signage so folks can find the platform or the correct bus. Bus signs are so tiny that we run from space to space searching for the correct bus. Most of all the ABSOLUTE ABSENCE OF SECURITY makes it a dangerous place to be. Panhandlers, thugs, and the like rule the place!

This DART station is somewhat like the medical district it serves - sprawling, almost too big, efficient, professional and well designed. Even finding the waiting area for the trains was a challenge on my first visit. (Hint: follow the people). Transferring from train to bus or bus to bus can be a challenge because there are so many bus pickup locations spread around he area. With Google Maps and a little experience transferring is a breeze.

This Train Station is perfect for many reasons. The fact that you can just ride the train to Parkland Hospital is a bomb. You don't have to stress yourself to drive and pay for parking at PARKLAND Hospital anymore. Even if you are going to UT Southwestern, you can just get off the train and ride the shuttle to UT Southwestern without worrying about driving or parking. They also have various buses come to this location. Ten Thumb Up to DART for this big improvement

Parkland must have been built on some ancient Indian burial ground. There's always something going down. Several factors about the place culminate together to make one of the single worst crowds of people that just loiter around. It rivals West End in shadiness, if not beating it. Be on your guard here.
