Roger Browning (03/29/2021)
I am a writer, so I know how important a book store can be. This one is important and the staff so helpful and friendly. I have managed great titles when I have had the chance to visit and Christmas time is usually what brings me here and great books and gifts I've always found here for the giving. My name is Roger Browning and I am the author of the book, 'The Reckoning of Rance.' A story of dysfunction and enabling. A harsh reality to some of inheritance. This story is just that and more. A setting that of a modern day ranch of north Texas, listed of western genre, but a story that could have been its setting a high rise of Dallas just as well. I come from the same country as McMurtry, only twenty miles separate our heritage as well. I am still a rancher there. There is more to the story of 'The Last Picture show,' from my side of the boundary line there. So if you want a good book, just google my name. Roger Browning and I am the author of 'The Reckoning of Rance.' On Amazon.

Love coming here, bonus points for having the Starbucks cafe! Relaxing atmosphere for book-searching and reading. If you have kids and want to have them explore books, there's a whole children's section on the second floor. The one thing I've noticed many times when I've gone is that several of the YA books I've had in my to-read list are not available in-store, but that could just be my bad luck. It doesn't take away from my experience because there's always a book to be read somewhere within this bookstore!

I didn't even buy anything. This Barnes & Noble is one that I go to when I need to get out of the house. Friendly staff clean organized location. Nothing called my name that day ,but I'm sure something will next time.

This is always been one of my favorite bookstores. It's a shame there are a lot fewer than there used to be. Good location and good atmosphere

Avoid this place. Stuff that their website says is in stock is, in fact, NOT in stock when you get there. If they’re trying to join all the other bookstores that have closed, they’re well on their way with service like that.
