Got my PPL here between October 2018-April 2019. I used an online ground school, so it was just some fine tuning of ground knowledge that I did with Brandon and Peter. Majority of my instruction here was flying. During my training they added a second 172 to the fleet. Airplanes are almost identical, and always well maintained. Virtually no down time during my training was due to mx issues. I think Ayers Aviation did an excellent job at providing good instruction, and helped make me a well rounded aviator. Things like: handling the airplane in/out/around the hangar, fueling, seeing work done to airframe and power plant, and helping students enter into the GA flying community (through monthly EAA meetings and other events at the airport)- are all things I haven’t observed at other larger schools, but happen naturally at Ayers Aviation. The airport and airspace are great for low hassle/no time wasted flight training, with busier airport nearby to sharpen certain skills. I never felt rushed or pressured and the billing was always honest.
I absolutely LOVE this school! Brandon and Peter are excellent instructors who truly care about the success of their students. Feels like a second home!
