Pretty neat little historical landmark to see near Marble Falls. Not a ton of parking but I doubt it gets very busy since you mostly walk up, read the sign, look at the hole (which is capped off for safety now), and move on. But worth stopping by if you’re in the area to check out the history.
It was dead
Small but interesting...pictures don't do this place justice. Great little side detour for 20 minutes or so!
Drove from Killeen here as it's a historical spot. There is not much to see. The sign gives you the history of it. It's a gravel drive but easy to find if you take 281 and FM 2417 I believe. It's very quiet. There will not be anyone else there or maybe one other car. When we went, there was one person but they weren't going to see Deadman's Hole. It is not accessible to wheelchairs.
Really cool place to stop at if you're in Marble Falls. We stopped here when we had some time to kill before heading to Sweet Berry Farms. Perfect little 20 minute stop
