Attend Ladies' Bible Study here, and it has been a wonderful experience. The Ladies are extremely nice.

Great place for worship our God in Spirit and truth, the Minister Patrick Cannon present wonderful sermons according the Word of God.

This is probably the largest nondenominational Church of Christ in the area, with close to 500 plus members. Many of the membership have been a part of the Walnut family since the days when revered sermons were provided by A.W. Chism, whose legacy leaves so much to live up to.nnThe building is relatively new to the congregation, having relocated here a few years ago from the congregation's former home just off State Line Avenue at 12th Walnut and Hazel Streets.nnServices are held twice on Sundays, with meeting times in both morning and evening hours. Sunday school classes precede the main worship service on Sundays.nnThe Church does not make use of musical instruments during services, and selected hymns are sung a capella by the entire congregation.nnA mid-week service is provided each Wednesday evening.nnWalnut Street Church of Christ also operates the Christian Preschool of Texarkana at this location.
