My wonderful husband was on his final tier in life. Frantic he would not receive his Last Rites. I called St. Paul and Father Richard answered. Explained the nature of my call, he immediately knew what I was calling for. My husband held on until Father Richard arrived. Unfortunately when Father arrived my husband was non-responsive, as if asleep. Father Richard explained my husband, Andrew, would still receive his final communion. Through me - Virtual Communion. He administered my husband's Last Rites and my husband within 2 hours passed. I am extremely grateful Father Richard came to my home and was there for my husband, our 9 year old son and myself.
Very reverent in dress and attitude which is refreshing. 24 hour adoration chapel. Frequent opportunities for penance. Love this parish, I feel at peace here.
It is constructed in the modern (ie mega church) style, which so like more.nnThe priest, Father Richard, is an Irishman with a sharp wit and a self deprecating sense of humor. That combination lends itself to a very engaging sermon. In addition the local Bishop is very fond of the place so it is your best chance to see his Excellency without going to Austin.nnThough not my normal church (I go to St Mary's which is an old church in Temple), they are my first choice if I can't make it to Temple and for confession.
They have reconciliation 30 mins before mass and on Saturdays too.
Fr. Richard was incredibly helpful in guiding me to where I needed to be. He took time away from what he was working on to walk me there! Great confessor to top it all off!
