Always love going there. Fun for family.nIf I had to come up with a complaint it would be ventilation could be better in indoor arena.nI love that outdoor arenas are available for our use between booked events. Would love to see footing improved in the uncovered one.
This is a well maintained indoor riding arena with an additional covered outdoor arena. The barn and stalls are some of the best and are available for a daily fee for use at shows for a day or a weekend. They also have rodeos and other events here, along with being able to rent out for a day of private riding use.
I was there for agility competition with my dog. Nice facility.
Roane State expo center is probably one of the best places in the state of Tennessee to hold equine and rodeo events. However, it does depend on the size of the event that you're holding. If you event is small enough that one Barn of stalls can hold the entire event, then Roane State is your place. However, it would be impossible to hold a world show, National show, original show here because of the size. There is RV hookups, but probably only 30 or 40 of them. There is an outdoor Arena, a covered Arena, and an indoor arena. Parking is decent size, outdoor wash racks, outdoor round pen, and good office area. If you are going to an event here, you will indeed enjoy it.
Nice place. I attended a dog agility trial here. Will be back again.
