I've used Concord Lamp & Shade for decades both for new lamps and the repair of old ones. Same for one of my daughters. For a small shop, there is an amazing selection of lamps and shades; Ann is knowledgeable and helpful, and the repair business is excellent. Most recently my visits were by appointment and followed CV-19 protocol. All went smoothly.
Our nice living room lamp (one of a pair) was not working. So I took it to Concord Lamp for repair. It was fixed and ready for pickup a week later, as promised. They said it just needed a new socket, possibly because a non 3 way bulb was used instead of the 3 way bulb needed. So we are back in business again, with nice bright light. We will be sure to always use 3 way bulbs. Thank you!!
Great experience at Concord Lamp and Shade Store.nCustomer Service was wonderful, the women were very helpful in choosing my lampshade on a Bleek Base I bought in Ireland many Years ago. In this time it's difficult to shop for replacement shades but Concord made it easy. I've been going there for many years because they know their products. I made an appointment and was given help in choosing the correct size and color to go with the lamps. Since I was the only customer I felt completely safe as well.
Concord Lamp & Shade is once again open for business. I have ordered lamp shades and am also having custom trim applied to the shades and the lamp hardware replaced. Ann is very accommodating and is taking care of my every need as well as suggesting things needing attention, such as the very old wiring in my antique lamps. I highly recommend this store!
