After dealing with knee pain (mostly during squats) for 6 months, I was referred to Justin at Physio Lab PT - West Knoxville. Having been to physical therapy elsewhere in Knoxville before, I wasn’t sure what exactly to expect. I was immediately impressed by the questions he asked (and those he didn’t). It was clear to me early on that his goal was the same as my goal - to get me back squatting heavy without knee pain. I love that you are assigned to one physical therapist (not whoever happens to be working) and that you work one-on-one with them for a higher level of care throughout your recovery. Justin also works closely with my personal trainer to figure out a squat program so that I can improve without causing additional damage or pain.nnWith their business model, I didn’t have to be referred by a physician and could either pay out of pocket or through my HSA account. If you are an athlete or looking for a sports rehab facility, Physio Lab PT West Knoxville is the perfect place.

I injured my hip during a longer progression run back in June. I had done the wait-it-out method plenty to know that I needed outside help with this injury. I chose Physio Lab because I had read lots of great testimonials about their one-on-one work with patients. I was also really interested in them because they work a lot with athletes and are all athletes themselves. I experienced one-on-one focused care during each session as I gained strength and better range of motion in my injured hip. Justin was very knowledgeable and educated me well on how to strengthen my hip. After this, we worked on my running form to allow me to be more efficient and less prone to injury. These sessions helped me become more efficient and aware with my running. After my runs now, I do not wake up the next morning feeling like my legs have been beaten up and my hip feels great. In fact, my relative effort feels easier now but I am moving quicker. If you are looking for a team that cares deeply about their patients and getting them back in the game. I would highly suggest checking Physio Lab out.
