if I could rate this place higher, I'd rate it an 11... yes it goes to 11. [pun absolutely intended] im not gonna lie... I was up in Chattanooga watching a lookouts game at the new field... I looked up engel stadium and found out it was the old lookouts stadium... also where 42 was filmed.. and found out Jackie actually played on that field along with Satch,babe,hank,gibson,gherig and many other of my favorite all time players got their start. also where Jackie Mitchell, a 17 yo girl struck out 3 amazing homerun hitters in an exhibition game. its something I had to see for myself. I ran the bases, touched the dugouts, and collected dirt for my own personal keeping. its a ballpark you have to see.
Very nice facility. Used to be a minor league field for the Chattanooga Lookouts and was acquired by the University. They have really upgraded the parking from the days of parking in a field. They have added other fields adjacent to this location and its parking lots. The UTC shuttle runs here to take students to campus
Beings back memories.
We had a great time. Me and my friend Debbie went to the American Dream Concert. We really enjoyed it . All the people that work there were so nice to us. It was Debbie's Birthday, she turned 61 yesterday. Had a great time. Thank to the entertainment.
