Charles H. Coolidge Medal of Honor Heritage Center

I’ve visited two weeks ago the museum in Chattanooga. Was so very impressed! I am hearing on the news Today that a new Medal of Honor Museum is being built in Arlington Texas. What if anything will become of the Chattanooga Museum now with the new Arlington museum?

A great memorial for those who so richly earned the respect of a nation.nnThe museum looks smaller from the outside than it is once you walk around in it. Every person is a Medal of Honor recipient. Many have other honor on display as well.nnWalking through the museum, takes you through all the phases of America's fighting history and those who displayed much valor, in the fight for Liberty and Justice for all.nnThere is so much to see and read. You will leave impressed.

I wouldn't volunteer there if i didn't love the history of the Medal and teaching that history to others.

Very nice little museum. Can't wait until they open the larger one by the aquarium downtown Chattanooga.
