Metro Nashville Emergency Communications Center

I’ve had to call twice during my four years working downtown. Both times the women were absolutely excellent. In December I needed help for a guest who was exhibiting signs of mental distress at my restaurant. I was little nervous to call 911 for someone who needed help but also wasn’t being aggressive. I have never had a negative experience with metro police myself which is great. When you see the news from around the country you start to think twice. The woman who helped me gave me assurance that the situation would be handled safely and appropriately. The EMT was very nice to the young man and listened to the information I was able to gather. I just wanted to say thank you. I felt much more confident after speaking w/ her. As a community we are lucky to have her.

omg, waiting for the police for a non emergency situation is awful. I have been waiting for over 5 hours and no police has showed up yet. I'm trying to do the right thing, so I contacted the police for their assistance with getting my stolen property back and I have yet got help. Now if I would of did something that would of caused me to break the law, then the police would of been there ready to do whatever. I have to much to lose to go to jail, I need help....

Just called in for a home invasion and was on hold for 8 minutes!! that is ridiculous!

I called in last night about 440 in Nashville how bad it was that cars was running other cars off the road now it's a accident on there
