To say this place has saved my life is quite literal. My physical wellness is better than it's ever been. The instructors are top notch (Mary Cady and Julie specifically) and the staff is always smiling and friendly - many friendships have developed from my time at the Y. The facility is super clean and well laid out. What more could you ask for?
I love how organized and clean the building is! And it's very spacious too. The equipment is fantastic (I especially love the fans on the treadmills) and, although I'm new to the Y and haven't taken a group class yet, the variety is impressive.My favorite part of the Green Hills Y is definitely the staff, especially Patrick who gave me my initial tour and always remembers my name when he sees me! Everyone is always so welcoming and helpful, and constantly cleaning. I feel very comfortable at the Green Hills Y.
This is my favorite YMCA in the area. Huge facility, lots of machines, friendly staff. I miss their amenities shut down due to COVID, hopefully they will have them open soon. With COVID they have it set up nicely distanced along with giving you cleaning supplies upon entry. Highly recommend.
The staff are not as welcoming to minorities compared to the Christ Church and Donelson-Hermitage locations. Also, it is basically an all-white staff. There is almost no diversity and it shows in their customer service.
There is a welcoming atmosphere and all the employees are very friendly and work extremely hard to keep the facility clean.
