Great indie book store - very good selection, friendly and helpful staff, a store dog - all of this, and owned by noted author Ann Padgett.nThey do a number of events, and one of the few (possibly only) new book stores in Nashville.nGreat place to browse books.nThey also have very strong, reasonable covid protocols in place.

Parnassus is my favorite bookstore in the world!! They have such an interesting array of books and other goods. The employees are always so helpful, and I love just talking to them (and petting their cute dogs). Despite the current pandemic they have been keeping the literary spirit alive and working so hard to provide for and educate the Nashville community. Parnassus is always there when I need it most.

Best bookstore in town! They have the nicest employees who can direct you to books based on what you've enjoyed in the past. Curbside pickup has been a life saver and they have recently reopened with new covid protocols that are much appreciated. I felt safe the entire time in the shop and appreciate the extra steps they are taking to keep our community safe.

They are being careful. Let only a certain number of folks in at a time. But worth the wait and employees as helpful as ever! Can order online and they will bring to car looks like.
