Friendly staff. Free books (donation requested) as you walk in the door. New releases on wall by checkout. Comfy couches to sit on while perusing through options.

This is a library with wonderful staff in all departments. I spend time in the travel, dvd, audio books, and non-fiction sections, and have found their collections to be very complete; they will also order books or dvds from other libraries. Be sure to take advantage of the book sales held several times a year by the Friends of the Library- you will find great reads for cheap prices while helping to fund some of the many programs offered by the library. Quiet study rooms are available, should you need them. Finally, don't forget museum passes available for a wide variety of museums and theatre venues.

Don't come here if you're expecting a quiet library to study in.

Best children's staff you'll find anywhere. And to clarify the previous comment, there is a requested donation of $1/DVD rental so they can continue to build the collection. It is a donation, though, not a fee.

Great collection of books including books in other languages, and other media. This library is part of the Merrimack Valley Library Consortium and you can request books from other libraries in the Consortium.
