Everyone was very easy to talk to and always willing to help. Very informative about the body and why it does the things it does. I loved my experience even though my back just didn't want to get right...ud83dude06

Michael was very organized, knowledgeable and explained details of treatment exercises thoroughly. The entire staff was helpful and positive, and the atmosphere was pleasant. Their attention to Covid protocols was reassuring. I enjoyed and benefited from my sessions there.

Wonderful overall experience. My sessions have been very effective, and I recovered in less time than I thought. I look forward to my visits and the friendly atmosphere there.

Unfortunately, I had a very poor experience with the office staff. Before my initial visit I discussed in detail if I needed to be referred and was told no. I paid the initial consolation fee and saw the PT, which was great. The PT taught me exercises to perform and mentioned not needing to come back unless I felt I needed. After 3 months of exercising as instructed, I felt it would be good to do a follow up as I have additional questions. I emailed the office staff back to set an appointment and was told too much time had passed and I now needed a referral from my primary physician and would have to pay the initial consolation fee again. I shared what the PT had told me and reminded Brittney of our earlier conversations about not needing a referral. Her response is why I am giving this establishment a 1 star review. She was very flippant and boarder lined condescending. She spoke down to me and didn’t validate my frustrations. She went so far as to say she didn’t communicate with the therapist and wasn’t responsible for any misinformation. I responded twice more to her emails asking for a refund to my consolation fees and to speak with a manager as my doing what I was instructed by their staff is what caused this issue. My emails and phone call were ignored although I don’t feel I was rude or deserved that. I think there needs to be better communication between office staff and the location staff to avoid confusion. I would also suggest that if an issue like this comes up that is a direct result of miscommunication between staff, that certain bigger steps are taken to make sure the customer is taken care of and not ignored as I was.

Very friendly staff. The facility is kept very clean and thoroughly wiped down after each patient. I have a marked improvement since I began my therapy 12 sessions ago. I highly recommend Progressive Physical Therapy in Mount Pleasant.
