Pointe North Church

Very nice visit, other than a hi by the greeter and lady who handed me card entering theatre not very inviting... Same on the outbound... They all seemed busy talking to themselves not the guests, little disappointed as a first time guest.

Most welcoming church I've ever attended. They aren't just church folk, they are church family. If your looking for a place to belong, they say welcome home.

We felt at home the moment we walked in to this church. They make you feel like your family from day one. And I can’t say enough good things about the children’s programs. Their heart for expanding God’s kingdom is refreshing and I’m grateful we can be but a small part of the efforts!

Moved here from VA, and my wife and I knew we needed to find a church that not only loved its people, but also preached the Word. In my opinion that doesn't always go together. I checked out several churches websites, read their beliefs and mission statements etc. I listened to their sermons all before checking them out. After listening to several sermons from churches and this one, I decided to check them out in person. The size can be a little intimidating to some if they aren't use to a larger bodied church. But from the moment you approach the doors to the time you enter the service you're greeted with smiles and friendly people. They have a very safe and secure kids area and system in place that put my wife at ease of leaving our two kids while we attended the service. The music was great, not to loud and you can tell the people singing and leading worship where genuinely happy to be up there and you could feel their passion for the Lord and worship. Then it came time for the sermon. This is what we came for, to see if the sermons we've listened to online would continue in person or did we just stumble onto a few good ones. Nope, this church preaches the Word and teaches the Word. We decided to try them again, especially after hearing about the upcoming series on ROMANS. Needles to say, we have made this place our new church home and have met some great people who are legit. As a guy who has worked, served and attended a few churches, and knows when a church is being genuine or putting on a front, this place was legit! In the time that my family has been attending since November, we have met some great people. People who know they aren't any better than anyone else just because they go to church, but people who really care about those who show up on Sunday's and want to see God move in people lives. My kids 6 & 3, are always so excited to go to church, they even ask during the week about when are we going back. I say all to say this, as a very critical non-trusting person, if your looking for a place that has good worship music, a place where you and your family can grow together, and a place that preaches the word, then do yourself a favor and just come check it out for a few weeks.
