I am now living in Goose Creek I finally went today and got my library card. The staff was very nice, helpful and friendly.
The librarians who work here are rude and loud as hell. I don’t know where library etiquette went but it’s not practiced here by the librarians. To sit across the library and able to hear the librarians talk about their evening or about their week is ridiculous.

We used to love going to this library as it is close to home and has a great kids section but recently the librarians we’ve interacted with have ruined our experience. We’ve visited four times over the past two months and each time I leave feeling awful because the librarians have been rude and condescending to me and my four year old son. I understand having an off day but the negative and rude interactions have been consistent. Unfortunately, I’ll pay for a library card to Charleston county and go to the Otranto library from now.
