Cookson bend is my all time favorite place to camp. I have been camping in the same location since I was a kid! (For over 20 years now!) I love how clean the lake is compared to a lot of other lakes in Oklahoma. I also like the it's near the Illinois river which I have been floating since a child as well. :D
