What an under used, hidden asset Checotah has tucked away across from the casino! A beautiful walking path, excersize equipment, toys for the kids, a pond for fushing, lots of grass, and more! Hardly a soul visits all the times i have been there at varioys times of day! Big brilliant lights for after dark even. Activities to keep one fit and trim all day through. Even if you just want a quiet peaceful sit by the pond or a quick jog with your k-9 family member on a leash. A most wasted asset this town has!
Went for fall festival and car show. Fun festival. Very nice sports complex
It has a walking trail that goes by a flock of ducks that are always nice to see swimming on the pond. Exercise equipment to warm up and cool down with. A wonderful place to go.
Great place to take your kids for activity, instead of playing video games. I hate video games. 98% of the reason youth kids are obeast/ 2% are the parents fault. Or maybe the other way around. Either way they are addicting and I wish I never would have introduced my kids to them. I guess I was lazy at the time.
Such a nice place to spend an evening walking or the kids playing at the play ground.
