Took my champion boat in to have seals and gaskets replaced in lower unit and had new sea star steering put in ! Service was great and everything was repaired and have no problems! Sold me a prop for good price and were helpful with my questions I had ..

We took our boat in early in 2019 for the following services: repair the right pontoon, repair the trailer and a general tune up with a new prop. I will say the pontoon and trailer repair were done very well. However that’s the only good I can say. The tune up never seemed to get the motor running and we had issues with the boat not being able to get to go more than a crawl (5-10 mph). I will say it was our fault for not getting the boat back to Mike faster but last year with all the rain the lake was so high we only had the boat out 4 times. This year we did notify him of the issues and he said it needed further tune up. We paid for the first return trip without issue because we failed to notify him of the issues timely. We wound up taking it in a second time (and again paid) and it still would not get any speed. Mike finally came out and drove it and said our lower unit needed to be replaced and it would be $700+ (depending on if he could find a used one). At that point we took the boat to Norris Marine and after they evaluated everything they advised that although Mike said he cleaned the carburetors they were not chemically dipped and this should have been done to remove the varnish. It was also finally discovered that the wrong prop was put on the boat and this was what was causing it not to get any speed. We bought and installed a new prop and the boat finally was able to get up to speed again. I sent two messages to Mike to see if he would make this right and he never responded. Since he failed to diagnose the problem correctly and since he would not even respond I can’t recommend him.

These folks are great. They keep parts on hand at very reasonable prices. Don’t fool with Amazon when you can shop local. Expert advice as well.

Complete service is suspect. I will not recommend someone I don't trust.
