I just started this but this place seems amazing! The first week has been awesome and can't wait to see what the the next couple of years holds for me.

This school feels more like a strict high school rather than a trade school for adults. They treat us like children here. The dress code is ridiculous. No hats, no athletic shorts, no graphic tees that are deemed inappropriate? We are adults, no need to put a cap on dress codes. NOW, LET ME SHARE SOMETHING ABOUT THE SCHOOLS POLICY ON ATTENDANCE! The worst I have ever seen. The school is Monday-Thursday 7AM-2:30PM. If you have responsibilities outside of class, You are bound to miss a couple days. If you miss a total of I believe 30 hours within a 6 month span, you get kicked out.... yup all your money is gone. For missing a lousy 30 hours. What a joke. You hardly get any days off from school, you never get a break until Christmas rolls around. It’s 18 months long consecutively. If you’re 2 late to class you’re automatically counted absent. And get this, if you’re 2 hours late on the first day of starting a new course, YOU AUTOMATICALLY FAIL THAT COURSE! Everyone I talk to, can not wait until 2:30 hits so we can get the hell out of this place

Great A&P school. I started my education at metro tech late 1998 ,graduated 2000. I was taught by very knowledgeable educators: Moreland, Crawford, pate, Hensley. They were masters in this field.nGood classroom /lab hoursnVery well equipped ; labs,machines ,hand tools,nEngines, aircraft small & large.nAffordable education at this institution. In fact very inexpensive in comparison to other similar institutions. I enjoyed my time at metro tech and recommend it to anyone seeking AMT degree.
