Walgreens Pharmacy

I had one of the worst experiences last week with them and it's not the first time. Every month it seems to have the same issue with getting my prescription. They would literally only give me an explanation of they need a prior authorization which in the first placethey were filling the wrong medication to begin with. It has to be name brand they we're trying to fill the generic.then they tried to tell my doctor that the reason why my sooner care would not pay for the medicine cuz I didn't go to a soonercare doctor. This is false because I've had the medication filled plenty of times and soonercare doesn't work with the doctor that I had. The issue was they were using my old insurance it wouldn't even take the time to talk to me. I was trying to talk to the lady and she kept interrupting me saying we're handling it three days later they still hadn't filled the medication. If they would have talked to me I would have realized they were using an old insurance but they wouldn't. Lastly someone yelled out what I was getting prescribed. Yes I might get prescribed Subutex. So I know I am a recovering drug addict. I have not touched any kind of drugs in 8 years thanks to that medication. I felt judged. You should never yell out a medication like that. I could have easily gotten attacked in the parking lot if the wrong person had. I know that's highly unlikely but it has happened the other people before to have their prescriptions stolen. I strongly suggest using privately owned pharmacies and not chained stores anymore. I know after months of experiencing what I have been experienced from the store I will not be using it. This is not the first time they made me feel like I am beneath them.

I've always gotten friendly service at this pharmacy, but they can be at times, the slowest I've ever seen to to get prescriptions filled. Very busy pharmacy.

Convenient location but expensive
