Reliable and dependable. We see NP, Alex and she’s always been helpful and so has nurse Makayla. I’m getting ready to establish care with my second child here today! Can’t imagine going anywhere else. The 24hr call line is so helpful for parents.

Variety care recently bought this practice. I imagine because dr haines is getting older and it just isnt as good without her at the helm. I had a very sick kid and when I called to schedule appointments it was jumping through hoops with an answering service for 20 minutes. Also no appointment availability for a week. In the past they would see my kids the same day or the next day. Really gone down hill. We had to find a new pediatrician. Since variety care won't see sick kids they are just about useless.

If I could give zero stars, I 100% would. My daughter started with Yukon Pediatrics as a newborn in March 2020. We loved them. Between her 2 month and her 4 month appointment they got bought out by Variety Care. My daughter became ill around 4 months old and just wasn’t being herself so I called to see if we should take her in the ER (because of covid I was worried if I was over exaggerating and it could wait) or get an appointment for the next day, after being on hold for 30 minutes, the nurse on the phone told me it was either COVID or a cold and to give Tylenol, and not to worry about fever until it was 104 or higher, SHE WAS 4 MONTHS OLD, and that I exasperated her symptoms by giving her a cold bottle instead of warming it, *insert eye roll here*. I called multiple times the next day and could not get ahold of anybody, called the day after and still couldn’t get ahold of anybody, so I found a different pediatrician because now my daughter was projectile puking after every bottle and was pale as a ghost and lethargic. The dr we found sent us for labs immediately and as soon as she got the results, she sent us to OU Children’s. She was then diagnosed with Acute Myeloid Leukemia. They had the nerve to call me a few weeks ago to inform me that they no longer took United Healthcare, even though neither of my kids have been there in over 6 months. I wrote something similar to this on a Facebook post of theirs where other parents had said their service has been awful and they couldn’t get ahold of anybody on the phones either and nobody from the practice responded to it or reached out to us to offer apologies or anything. I strongly urge every parent to go to A Place To Grow Pediatrics instead of this trash hole of a place that it’s turned into. Her Dr that she seen 1 time for 15 minutes checks in with us often, but the drs and nurses that seen both my kids multiple times for 2 months couldn’t be bothered to even answer the phones.

Both my kids have been going to o Yukon pediatrics for at least 5 years or more. It was wonderful. Great staff and patient care. A few months ago variety care took over and is the complete opposite. Just trying to reach someone at ped Yukon is impossible. Very sad and disappointed. Variety Care is awful. I'm going miss the old Yukon pediatrics.

Definitely do not recommend since Alecia Hanes sold off to Variety Care . Call center takes 15 minutes to get through .... patients who have been going for almost 7 years are being forced to bring all kinds of paper work for a new patient .nIt’s horrible !
