I celebrated my 50th birthday at Flex. I had never been there before. It was one of the best birthdays I ever had. I'm so grateful I got to have such a wonderful experience right before covid hit. It was a karaoke night and I felt so welcome. Bless you, flex folks. The best people.

Lit. I mean LITERALLY one of the BEST bars in town. Great music drinks and atmosphere. The staff here are fantastic and so sweet and friendly[ At least the ones ive met] and because of them you're not just a patron of the bar you become family, they really make the whole atmosphere inclusive and so loving and accepting. All of my best memories with friends have happened in Flex and I've made so many friends because of it. I have had countless laughs and cries here it really feels like home when I walk in. I've not met the owner but he is in very frequently and from what I hear is just as great as his staff. I cannot recommend this place anymore 5000 stars. Old-school gay bar. Lots of fun, not pretentious. Leather nights and Bear nights are the best. Bartenders are hot, friendly, and flirtatious. The crowd is boisterous and welcoming. In my opinion, the best gay bar in North Carolina. FYI: they are cash only and usually charge a small cover at the door, and they require ID to enter. A definite must-go for Raleigh gay night life.

Very low key and mellow gay bar, I love there Leather/Fetish night and Bear nights, pretty cool. Come as you are and not Judged by anyone, Super friendly atmosphere and the drinks are great. Cash only. I often go on leather/fetish nights wearing my leather gear and boots and got nice comments on my leather outfit and Boots. my place for chillin out and meeting up with friends.
