Good comic stores are getting harder and harder to find. I stop in here when ever I am near NC State main campus (about every 2-3 months). Super friendly staff working. One has an awesome X-Men collection, all slabbed and on his wall. His girlfriend actually got him one of CGCs Signature Series book ( true love there). Anyway, the store may look like a well lit basement or a really big junk room, but they know where all the stuff is (its like they use the Force). They may not have exactly what you are looking for, either the issue or the grade, but they can talk about it. So if you walk in, say Hi, be polite, walk down the wall of specialty issues, and then tell them what you are looking for. Expect to spend at least 20 minutes here. Good luck! Just don't buy any X-Men issues 38 - 133, those are mine! ud83dudc4d

Foundation's Edge is exactly how an old school comic book shop was and should be! Boxes and boxes of comics. An underground adult section behind the counter. A rack of locally made button badges. The only thing missing was the local gaming group post board(the board is there but it's completely bare.) Everytime I go back to Raleigh, I stop by. I'm so glad it survived 2020. The owner still remembered me as a regular the 2 years I lived there 21 years ago. And anyone who left a review saying the employees were rude or that it's a horrible store should go back to Barnes & Noble land of robot cookie cutter customer service and stay out of Mom & Pop businesses.nHalf the fun of a good comic shop is the hunt for treasures (which I found... a Dark Horse, Post Bros comic...as rare as hens teeth.)nGo check the place out...great hard to find rpg books too.

Great experiences with looking through old and new comics, they were very willing to help you find what you were looking for and mention new things you may enjoy.
