Love this store! I love browsing through the books, new and used. And if you can't find what you're looking for? Jenny, the owner and all around beautiful person, is more than happy to help! Whether you're seeking to buy a good beach read, an adult coloring book... or two(she has a wide variety), interesting novels about the area or wanting to sit in a cozy chair and quietly read for awhile...the Island Book Shop will not disappoint!
One of my favorite places on the island, the owner is AWESOME and is quite helpful. The best part being, if they don't have it there she will be more than happy to order it for you! Little known fact about this place is that there is internet access and a fax machine there in the oft chance that you need to send one off. So worth you time and effort to stop by and loose an hour or two going through all the treasures in print hiding inside!
Casual nice bookstore. Great place to get both new books and summer beach reads.
