This is staffed with predominantly friendly, helpful people. It's rare these days for pharmacists and pharmacy staff to be so friendly and going the extra mile to get you what you need. I would go out of my way to be serviced by the CVS Somerville Target teaam.

Whether Target or CVS the pharmacist have always been the best and I've been going since they first opened even though other pharmacies were more convenient. As far as the store goes, I'm a mom so I frequent stores like Target, Walmart, Stope & Shop, etc. I like the smaller scale of this store and I'm impressed that the store is always well stocked and organized, plus if I forget something I don't feel like I have to trek a mile to the other side of the store! I wish the food market was larger but this is Stop & Shops fault. When the company was expanding the markets this location was banned to dry goods, ice cream and milk only because apparently Stop & Shop leases them the property and wouldn't allow for anything else, fear of competition. I was astounded when I heard this, not only by S&S's pettiness but by the bungled lease negotiations by the Target corporation. Still a very well maintained store with a wonderful staff.
