ZERO STARS - THEY KILLED MY DADnnWhere do I begin to describe the mistreatment, lies and deception? My father was waking and talking and dead within two days. NO ONE KNEW WHAT HAPPENED or how long he was lying there.nnWe weren’t allowed to visit due to Covid and he’s non-verbal. We didn’t talk to him his entire two day stay and not a single nurse/cna or staff member could tell us how he was doing. They’ll be hearing from my lawyer and this place should be shut down.

DO NOT PUT YOUR LOVED ONE IN THIS FACILITY!nMy mother spent 3 months here while recovering from a stroke. She is bedridden and in a vegetative like state. Many times her diaper was soaked through due to them not having an urgency with changing the diapers. She was left in the same position for hours a day! My mom can not speak or move so I can only imagine what she feeling and going through. The day we were allowed to take my mom home she had so many bed sores all over her and she had a really bad odor due to lack of being cleaned/bathed. Ever since my mother has been home with us she has not gotten any bed sores or odors. Please listen to the other reviews and do not let your loved one stay in this facility! It needs to be shut down!

My son is a resident of Carver Rehabilitation Center in Durham. He is bedridden and constantly is left unattended for hours even after ringing the bell requesting medication or assistance getting into bed or needing to be changed out of soiled incontinence item. I have been on the phone with my son and witnessed him waiting for over 3 or 4 hours waiting for someone to respond when he uses the call bell. There is no accountability for the apathetic behavior of the staff. This ranges from the nurses to CNA's to kitchen staff who often bring improper food that is not proper for his renal diet. I live very close to this place and before the pandemic I was able to keep a close eye on him. If there was any other available option I would move him out of this place but we are stuck. My daughter and I have complained respectfully and even made allowances for under staffing. But there is no improvement. I would not recommend this facility to anyone who has a loved one they care about.

My mama was at the center from October 22nd to January 5th. The whole time she was there the nurses and CNAs were rude and hateful. They would take forever to come change her and when they did come they complained because they had to do their job. The staff lies continuously and won't call family members back.nAfter being home for only one day she had to be admitted to the hospital because she was so sick.nI would not recommend this place to my worst enemy. This place needs to be shut down completely

Staff were really rude. And did not change my mother for two days. When I asked about her well-being they didn’t know anything. Would not recommend AT ALL.
