It's a great place to learn! Professor Bower is an amazing instructor. The rest of the class is like a nice family. I'm happy to be a part of it.
This gym has been a game changer, coming from a toxic sporting environment the people of the salt lake valley have no idea how lucky they are to have such knowledgeable professors and coaches. They really do make you feel like family there and it definitely feels like they put the community before anything else( which you will rarely find in sports.)They're very well rounded whether you're there to compete, make friends, or learn self defense they have you covered, it is VERY CLEAN which is super important in not only a time like this but every day germs or viruses are 100% not present there. Thank you Duayne for putting together such a wonderful school and keeping it going.
This school, and learning Jiu Jitsu from Professor Duayne has changed my life for the good. His patience and understanding of the art is absolutely unmatched. The fact that he is so protective of his mat and his students (teaching safety first, and always keeping a close eye on the newcomers so they won't get hurt) I think is the number one reason I was able to stick to this art. I've absolutely fallen in love with Jiu Jitsu a million times, a million ways, and it's brought me so many beautiful things that I cannot say enough good things about my experiences here. Grateful that Professor Duayne brought Gracie Barra to Utah and that I get to train and teach there!

Our family went to an introductory course over Christmas break. I have zero experience in any kind of self defense so it was all new to me, but George was a wonderful instructor. We spent a couple of hours and learned a handful of very valuable techniques. It made me want to join and learn/practice consistently. Would recommend and go again!
