This place is truly a throwback in time. One screen, one showing per night, and a massive seating area. FIRST RUN MOVIES at about half the:beach rate.nnPopcorn and softdrinks also at seriously reduced prices compared to any other theater. Look in the lobby for the picture of local boy Andy Griffith changing the marquee personally for his first big movie.

Love the Pioneer theater. It's a local treasure. Ever since I was a kid I've been coming to see movies here. Prices are always great and quality just as good as any other spot. For a hometown feel kinda theater and a good price on concession and tickets make sure you come check out the Pioneer Theater in Downtown Manteo.

A nice theater with a local feel. Cash only, great popcorn, sodas, candy selection. Prices are low, owners and staff are friendly. A must do on your visit to Manteo.

Best price for A movie and best popcorn!

I saw my first movie as a kid here. It was a great experience. The owners made me feel at home.Even as an adult I still feel like I'm at home there 40yrs later. I believe it's the best theater to go on a date a family or just by your self it's the best experience ever! Love this place.!!!
