Four stars because it is such an old subway station. However, there must be a way to have better signage, and to scrub out the general smell of urine. I suggest passing through the station as quickly as possible to avoid realizing how under maintained it has become.

There's not much I can add that others have not already said - very nice historic piece of the city of Boston. Definitely needs to be renovated but there is some charm in its lack of renovation.

The red line Park Street is significantly better after they painted and put up better lighting.

A very important station on the Green Line, as this is where you get to take the opposite direction trains. This station is also common with the Red Line and also there's a connection with the Downtown Crossing station, through a concourse. There is very little room to get confused, as the entire station is well-signposted.
