Asheville River Cabins

This was the perfect spot for My Husband and I. The area was peaceful and romantic and just something different from the norm. We will be returning.nThe Lazy River Cabin that we stayed in was nestled next to the River and the cabin itself was great for just the 2 of us. The Fire Pit on the Porch and the fire place in the living room were nice added touches for a perfect Romantic Getaway.

My wife, myself, and our two dogs stayed in the Americana Cabin (#2) in both November of 2019 and November of 2020. Both of our stays were just great. For one, the property is beautiful; the French Broad River runs right along side it which makes for some really awesome views and nature vibes. There is also a nice big grassy area which is great for letting the dogs run around.... I think they had just as much fun as we did here :) The cabin we stayed in was incredibly cozy and quaint. All basic necessities were provided free of charge, and there were even additional complimentary items like welcome snacks, coffee pods, and fire wood for the outdoor fire pit!nnI also want to give the owners credit for the upgrades they made between our two stays. Compared to 2019, the Americana now has a hot-tub, propane grill, and a much bigger TV in the living area. The whole kitchen was re-done too. I believe the current owners took over in July of 2019, and to me it's clear that they are interested in putting money back into their business and I think they are doing a fantastic job. Make no mistake, we loved the cabin in 2019 as well, but the new additions were a nice treat.nnOverall, I really can't say enough good things about this place, especially given their pricing! If you are looking for a comfortable, rustic and affordable place to stay while visiting Asheville, I highly recommend considering the Asheville River Cabins!!

Stayed in the Fishermans Cabin. It was nice and we had very few minor inconveniences. The doors were hard to get latched, including the front door with the electronic lock. You had to push the door in if you wanted the lock to work. The hot tub was nice, bed comfortable. We would definitely come back to stay!

Stayed in Cabin #4 on the river. The view and ambiance were amazing. The deck was perfect for relaxing and enjoying the sounds of the water. The interior of the cabin was very modern and clean. Two huge tvs, kitchen, and nice bathroom. Modern amenities in a rustic cabin was a perfect mix. Location is close to everything. We will be back!

They have Mice and a rude owner !!! I recently booked the Americana Cabin and on our first night of our stay we saw 2 mice in the kitchen area of the cabin . Unfortunately we saw the mice in the middle of the night and could not contact anyone to let them know about our mice issue because Asheville river cabins does not offer 24hr maintenance or office hours. We spent the night uncomfortable looking over our shoulders for mice. In the morning we contacted the front desk to let them know how uncomfortable we were after seeing mice. The owner was condescending, aggressive, and rude and didn’t even offer an ounce of empathy for what we experienced. He refused to give us a refund (even mocked us and said he would only give us $5 off for each mouse we saw) and stated that if we didn’t want to encounter mice we should have chosen to stay in a hotel. The only option he offered was for us to stay in a cabin that did not have the same accommodations and even then stated he could not guarantee we would not see mice. The mice was a matter that neither parties could truly control, but the owners attitude is the true reason why I will not recommend this vacation rental to anyone else.
